Trip Summary

In June 2022, Weightlifting Wales' team set off to Lochen Am See, Austria, to take part in the International Junior Battle.

In the picturesque village of Lochen Am See outside Salzburg is a small Weightlifting club which has held the International Junior Battle for the 19th time. A competition that lifters across Europe have been attending as one of their first international developmental events for almost two decades, a place where good memories and friendships in Weightlifting are formed.
